The first game of the night between between Brandeis and Plymouth State was not much of a contest from the jump. Plymouth State failed to execute on the offensive end and it carried over to the defensive end as Brandies got any shot they wanted. At the half Brandeis was ahead by a 28-point margin 48-20. In the second half it was the same story as Brandeis continued to shove it down Plymouth State's throat and the game ended in a final score of 86-57 in favor of Brandeis. What contributed to Brandies success was that each of their five players scored in double digits. Leading the scoring rampage was Alex Stoyle with 22 points. Both teams will be in action taking on non-divisional opponents in week 8.
The second match-up of the night between Rivier and Team N.H was close at first but as time went on throughout the game Rivier seemed to pull away with their constant block presence on offense. D.J Poitras controlled most of the game from the block getting any position he was wanted and any offense rebound he wanted. At the half Rivier was ahead by 10 points 38-28. When the second half started Team N.H died down as Rivier began to knock down open threes and get numerous baskets in transition. With this constant pressure Rivier soon wore Team N.H out and began to pull away. When the final buzzer sounded Rivier came away with the win 73-62.
The third game between Franklin Pierce and BST Jr. did not happen due to Franklin Pierce's inability to make the game.
The fourth and final game of the night between The Underdogs and DWC started off with High Intensity but both teams struggled to get in a groove early. As both teams began to get in a groove they continued high intensity. At the half DWC was down by a 11- points, 32-21. As the second half began both teams again came out with the same intensity. The game ended in a final score of 65-42 in favor of The Underdogs.
